Ghana Mission 2025

In 2025, Legacy Hands of Hope traveled to Ghana with a simple but powerful purpose: to help create lasting change through access to clean water. At St. Paul’s Anglican School in Ga West Akraman, LHOH supported the construction of a water well, bringing a reliable source of clean water to the school community. During the inauguration, we also provided meals for approximately 900 children and visited the Akropong School for the Deaf, serving approximately 230 students. This mission represents what LHOH stands for—meeting essential needs today while helping build stronger communities for tomorrow.

In February 2026, Legacy Hands of Hope traveled to Liberia to listen, learn, and lay the foundation for lasting impact. Through an on-the-ground assessment and the distribution of initial supplies, we connected directly with communities to better understand their most pressing needs. What we learned continues to guide our work as we prepare to return in 2027, committed to turning those conversations into meaningful action and sustainable support.

In April 2026, Legacy Hands of Hope brought its mission to Guyana, reaching children and communities through education, healthcare, and essential resources. At Howell Wilson Primary School in Ituni, we provided school supplies for 105 students and supported a new community playground. We also delivered medical supplies to the Ituni Community Clinic and provided educational supplies, clothing, shoes, and other essentials to children in surrounding communities. Each effort carried the same message: every child and every community deserves the opportunity to thrive.
